Trash, yard waste and recycling containers are picked up every Thursday by A+ Disposal. Pickup times vary so please put containers out Wednesday evening. A+ Disposal charges per trash can, so anyone needing an extra trash can will be charged an additional monthly fee. Please contact Town Hall to order an extra bin or with any trash related questions.

The trash bin is for household trash only. Each resident is allowed only one overflow bag beside your container. All trash should be bagged up and please tie all bags.

Items not allowed in trash can:

  • no construction debris

  • no metals

  • no paints or oils

  • no yard debris

  • no automotive debris

  • no flammables or any combustible material

  • no animal carcasses

  • no large boxes (for TVs, refrigerators, washer/dryer, furniture)

The yard waste container is for yard debris. Items must be broken down to fit inside. Leaves and pine straw must be put in bags. Larger logs and limbs are heavy and will require a special pickup. If the trash collector determines an item to be too heavy, it will not be picked up, and a special pickup will have to be scheduled.
